◊ Prior to 2.1, if you were copying a table from one document to another, you had to have the Contents Tool selected, and then after selecting the whole table as for resizing (Command-T), hold down the Command key and move the table base box to the new document. Starting with 2.1, it is now slightly easier: you can just click the Item Tool (the same as if you were going to move the table to a new location); then just drag the table base box to the new document. i.e., you can use the same methods to copy the table to the new document, as you would use to copy a simple text box — either Command-drag the base box in Contents mode, or drag the base box in Item mode.
